Benson Industries curtainwall design for the Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) Corporate Headquarters building has recently been recognized for its environmental attributes including becoming Platinum LEED Certified and earning an ENERGY STAR rating of 99 out of 100. This Glass On Web article goes into detail about the design strategy behind the building — from selection of glass and design of the floorplan, to the additional elements selected in order to achieve this distinguished level.

These achievements were made possible by incorporating Solarban® R100 on performance-tinted Solarblue® glass, Thermafiber CW-90 mineral wool insulation and Benson’s superior iso-bar cossette thermal break design.
