JOB TITLE: Estimating Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Director of Pre-Construction & Estimating
LOCATION: Portland, OR

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Produce and revise estimating material takeoffs with guidance from Estimators and Senior Estimators.
  2. Produce detailed unit takeoffs from architectural drawings.
  3. Occasionally printing / filing as necessary.
  4. Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  5. Receive and distribute plans and pertinent information for bids in a timely manner.
  6. Contact vendors/sub-contractors for quotes, qualifications and other information as required.
  7. Schedule and take minutes of scope review meetings.
  8. Assist with review construction documents.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
  10. Attendance during regular work hours and overtime as required.

Qualified Candidates Will Possess the Following:

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2018, Revit, Bluebeam and MS Office.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to understand architectural and structural drawings.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, including basic formula writing and understanding.
  • Math skills are required.
  • Effective personnel interaction and communication skills to deal effectively with estimating staff and management.


  • Two (2) years’ work experience as a production drafter in engineering, architecture, construction or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Well organized and able to multi-task

Office Hours & Travel:

Full Time, Monday-Friday
