JOB TITLE: Senior Detailer

REPORTS TO:   Director of Engineering
LOCATION:      Portland, OR

Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Coordinates workload and delegates to Detailers I & II.
    2. Coordinates Benson’s work with other trades (i.e., precast, structural, window washing, skylights, interior finish, mechanical).
    3. Produces fabrication and tag drawings utilizing information contained in the shop drawings.
    4. Confirms all tag and fabrication drawings are complete and accurate.
    5. Communicates regularly with the assembly shops regarding material orders.
    6. Other duties as assigned by management.
    7. Attendance in the office during normal business hours.
    8. Ability to meet strict deadlines.
    9. Attendance in the office during normal business hours.

Qualified Candidates Will Possess the Following:

  1. College degree and/or related business experience and knowledge required.
  2. Engineering, architecture, and/or construction work experience preferred, with working knowledge of construction principles and procedures.
  3. Proficient in AutoCAD 2018 and MS Office.
  4. Ability to comprehend and communicate information on blue prints.
  5. Requires excellent communication skills.
  6. High-level math skills a must, trigonometry preferred.
  7. Effective personnel interaction and communication skills to deal effectively with Job Captains and Management.

Work Hours:

Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00
